Meet the team...

thinkingbricks's vision is that your home becomes more intelligent, intuitive and entertaining - helping you to live life with the assistance and support of technology that you can use.

Our aim is to deliver a system that allows you to do what you want, where you want and when you want to do it. thinkingbricks can do this without the technology in the background intruding into everyday life.

Ian Trudgeon - Director

Ian is responsible for the client consultation and development within the business, as well as operations management for the team.

By consulting and understanding exactly what thinkingbricks's customers need, Ian develops a clear specification and system design for our projects, and the project management with the team, to deliver EXACTLY the right end result.

Meeting and developing relationships with existing and future customers is key to how thinkingbricks develops and grows, and Ian is regularly found delivering home technology training sessions in an architectural practice or interior design showroom, as well as discussing existing and future projects with main contractors on site.

Aaron Clarke - Senior Technical Engineer

As Senior Technical Engineer, Aaron leads the Engineer Team for thinkingbricks. Delivering the right solution, at the right time and "Right First Time" is his mantra on site. From the organisation of the cabling following first fix, through to the final commissioning and personalisation of the system to the client, Aaron deals with a variety of contacts and clients everyday.

Aaron is all about making sure everything is on the level and working smoothly!

Setting up our Control4 systems and training our clients on their systems is a key step in the installation, and Aaron’s calm and collected manner make sure that a client is left happy and actively using their systems from day one.

As "Keith" in the tribute band, The Rolling Klones, Aaron is "never happier than when I've got a guitar in my hand". He does admittedly have to put the drill / laptop / spirit level down for that though...

Stephen Gough - Business Development / Technical Specification

Stephen has an extensive pedigree in the UK home automation industry, and is an ex-Chairman of CEDIA.

He brings with him a great reservoir of knowledge and ideas on how thinkingbricks can work with our existing partners, in the high end residential marketplace.

With a keen eye to our future customers too, Steve will be working to develop our network of clients in our target geography of North and Central London and the Home Counties.

His expertise in the construction and specification of the right technology, be it an access control and door entry approach for multiple apartments or a whole technology turnkey solution with Lutron and Crestron integration for a single bespoke home, Steve has a set of skills that help us deliver our projects as well as ensure our customers have the right solution, in place and operational.

Tony Brailey - Technical Engineer

As a Technical Engineer, Tony is focussed alongside Aaron on delivering the wide variety of home technology systems that thinkingbricks install.

As an ex Royal Marine, he brings a real discipline to his work and an attention to the important details. Tony has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Audio and Music Technology, and linked to his experience in IT networking, AV installation and calibration is always "getting stuck in" on site.

Having climbed the highest mountain in Europe (Mont Blanc), Tony is always looking for a new challenge!
